MEDICARE

MEDICARE will provide coverage for chiropractic adjustments for a patient's "episode of care." An episode of care has a beginning and an end for a specific condition. MEDICARE does not provide coverage for wellness or maintenance therapy. Nor does MEDICARE cover examinations, modalities (i.e., ultrasound, laser, e-stim) or x-rays.

Your initial visit at Albemarle Family Chiropractic is $125.00, which covers the initial evaluation and treatment. Even though you may have supplemental (secondary) insurance, it will not cover what MEDICARE does not cover, i.e. the examination.
